Management
RBT has assembled a management and governance team that knows how to start and
grow companies and turn technology into competitive business advantage. The team has
excellent alignment regarding corporate vision and business motivation, as well as complementary
skills and competencies needed to achieve RBT’s corporate goals. Most of all, this team spent a lot
of time working with one another before we formed RBT. This promotes a high level of
confidence that we can work together well, can trust each other to accomplish what the business
needs, and spend our energies moving the business forward.
Tom Murray – owns the driving vision for creating software services that make life better for
business travelers. Tom pioneered early e-commerce offerings as a founder of Select Vermont and
Falling Leaf Interactive. He was a founder of AOL Select, an AOL partner venture. At Sideware
Corporation he led the Technology Sales and Support team as a senior vice president for this
publicly-held ECRM start-up. “With You All the Way” describes Tom’s idea of RBT’s organizing
principal and market value.
Doug Foran – brings deep experience launching products and making sales for early stage
technology companies. Doug ran product marketing for IDI, Inc., taking the company to the
NASDAQ National Market. He took two document technology products to worldwide markets
for Xerox Corporation. As a founder of Concept Five Technologies he ran sales and marketing for
this successful early entrant in the Information Security market. Doug’s specialty in B2B offerings
makes the corporate travel market a natural fit.
Phil Wherry – enjoys an international reputation as a technology leader for information security
and wireless applications. Phil architected the security infrastructure at Concept Five for the first
online stock trading system in Europe for Swedebank. He ran IT operations and network
development for 40 worldwide locations at Leap Wireless. Many technology companies depend on
Phil’s judgments regarding “What’s next?” He will help answer that for the business traveler.
