Identiflyer

Scheduled for launch Q1-2008

IdentiFlyer™ is a multifactor authentication, ID verification, fraud prevention technology platform which RBTI currently employs in mTravel® and my|mTravel® and will market to other OTA (online travel agencies).  It protects both the travel merchant and the traveler (purchaser of travel). From the merchant's perspective, the multi-factor process insures ID verification, hence constitutes a digital signature thereby resulting in non-repudiation of the transaction.  From the buyer's perspective, the multi-factor insures that an identity thief attempting to use the buyer's credit card  would be thwarted.

Say for example a thief steals your wallet.  He has your credit card, the CCV code on the card and your address, maybe even your SSN.  In that case, the other solutions in the market are helpless to prevent fraud.   In contrast, IdentiFlyer™ uses a patent-pending methodology that challenges the user to answer personal questions garnered from public information databases, such as “What color was the Ford you drove in 1999?” “What model was it?” or “What was your address prior to your present address?”  Only the real IdentiFlyer™ user could answer those questions.  In addition, once the system is satisfied that the user has been verified, it sends a one-time, one-use SMS code to the user’s registered,  trusted device such as the user’s cell phone or PDA (like an RSA token), which the user must then enter to complete the transaction.

To achieve maximum security, our IdentiFlyer™ solution employs multiple factors: User-name and Password, correct answers to personal questions, and a one-time code sent to a "trusted" device of the user’s choice  This makes it virtually impossible to impersonate the IdentiFlyer™ user or use the IdentiFlyer™ user’s identity and/or Credit Card.
